Dear Friend,
As you could not attend the Ganesh Chaturthi festival at our home, I am writing this letter to you describing how we celebrated the festival. I hope you all are doing well. This Ganesh festival is a time for me to come together with my family and friends. Many of our relatives came to our home to celebrate the festival.
We worshiped the idol of Lord Ganesha for 10 days. We decorated the puja mandapa very nicely and litted many diyas around it. Modakas and laddoos were prepared. We spent each night arranging some cultural events. On the 10th day, we made a grand celebration to immerse the idol in a nearby river. The celebration ended on a positive note. We prayed to the Lord for good fortune ahead.
